AoE3 can be remarkably complex if you start figuring what cards would work best aginst what civs on what map and what player. RoN was a deeply complex game but once you figured things out a bit you could hold your own, only problem was it was so complex that it had very few players online.ĪoE3 has a deeply complex tech, shipment, build system which is much different from RoN's system. Well here is my argument to complexity, the more complex a game gets the less community it has because fewer people can play the game to full effect to know what others are talking about.
